Terms of Service

Last updated: July 17, 2026 · Operated by Honest Hockey, Ontario, Canada · info@gethonesthockey.com

Welcome to Honest Hockey. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy and Fitness & Medical Disclaimer, which are part of these Terms.

1. Who can use Honest Hockey

Honest Hockey is an off-ice training app that coaches run for their teams. It is intended for young athletes, coaches, and parents/guardians. Anyone under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian review and accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Disclaimer on their behalf before using the app.

2. Acceptable use

Use Honest Hockey only for its intended purpose — logging your own off-ice training effort and following your coach's program. Do not misuse the service, attempt to access other users' data, or use it to harass or harm anyone. Honest Hockey has no leaderboards and is designed as a positive, private space; keep it that way.

3. Self-reported effort

Honest Hockey is built on honest, self-reported effort. The accuracy of the training data you enter is your responsibility. The value of the app depends on athletes logging what they actually did.

4. Not medical advice

The training content is general information for educational purposes and is not medical, physiotherapy, or professional health advice. See the full Fitness & Medical Disclaimer. Physical activity carries inherent risk, and you (or a parent, for a minor) assume that risk.

5. Assumption of risk & limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Honest Hockey, its creators, and coaches are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from use of the app or participation in the activities it describes. You use the app at your own risk.

6. Accounts & privacy

Each person sees only what they should — an athlete sees their own data, a parent their child's, a coach their team's. You are responsible for keeping your login secure. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

The app, its content, the monster avatars, the exercise library, and Honest Hockey branding are the property of Honest Hockey. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute them without permission.

8. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed as described at signup or checkout. Pricing, billing terms, and any trial or founder pricing are shown before you pay. [Final billing and refund terms to be confirmed with counsel before public launch.]

9. Account termination

You may stop using Honest Hockey and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

If we make material changes, we'll notify the account holder and, where required, re-request acceptance. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
