Install Honest Hockey on Android

Our Google Play listing is still in review. Until it's there, you can install Honest Hockey directly on your phone — it takes about a minute. (The iPhone and iPad app is already on the App Store.)

Because it's not from the Play Store yet, Android will show a one-time security warning — that's normal and expected. Here's how to install:

  1. Tap “Download for Android” below and let the file finish downloading.
  2. Open honest-hockey-1.1.1-build22.apk from your notification bar, or from Files → Downloads.
  3. If Android says it can't install “unknown apps,” tap Settings → turn on “Allow from this source” → tap back.
  4. Tap Install, then Open.

Already have it installed? Uninstall the old one first — long-press the icon, tap App info, then Uninstall. Installing over the top can fail with a confusing error. You'll sign back in with the same account and nothing is lost.
